There will be an airshow there thisweekend, including acrobatics and aerial combat simulations. An MK-18 was handed off from Patrick's 358.3 (Appr North) to350.2 (SpaceCoast Tower) after Patrick coordinated the freq with SCRA/p, andlanded. That350.2 freq has been used in previous airshows at SCRA/p. Later (only moments ago), a flight of four T-28 Trojans overflewPatrick's Rnwy 02 in formation at 500 feet, did a dogbone turn andoverflewthr runway in the opposite direction. The T-28 piston-enginetwo-seatertrainer first flew in Sept 1949. Was 350.200 last yearWell, it was a short wait, same as last year 350.200JOLLY 33 just checked in for a "high" speed pass then landing. After Airboss changed their approach plans twice, the JOLLY pilotsounded a little ticked. But for those who have listened to this showbefore know why, have NEVER heard more radio traffic at any otherairshow than here. Amazing they don't have more crashes than they dohere with change of plans and routines over the radio.Keep those Brevard County trunked freqs handy too.Other Space Center Exec (ops, Regional) freqs:118.900 Tower121.850 Ground122.950 Discovery Aviation123.000 Gateway Aviation>>Mike Comer KE4FFB>miket31@greater.net>Titusville Florida>Due West of Kennedy Space Center
